City Pub Group Branches Out with Acquisition of Jam Trees

Leisure specialists Davis Coffer Lyons has completed the sale of Jam Tree’s two sites to expanding AIM-Listed operator City Pub Group The Jam Tree’s two leaseholds in Clapham’s Old Town and King’s Road in Chelsea were acquired from Ashley Letchford – operator of Fu Manchu also in Clapham – for £2.4m.
City Pub Group, headed by Clive Watson, now has 46 sites including the Covent Garden and Aragon House, both of which it acquired through Davis Coffer Lyons earlier this year.
Paul Tallentyre, Executive Director of Pubs & Bars at Davis Coffer Lyons said: “We are delighted to have sold Jam Tree to City Pub Group which continues to expand its portfolio. This is a strategic acquisition for the group who know Chelsea and Clapham well and already operator a number of pubs in both areas.”
