August 29, 2018

Leisure property specialists Davis Coffer Lyons has – on behalf of Rose Pub Company – completed the sale of the freehold of The Lock Tavern on Chalk Farm Road in Camden to East London Pub Company for £6m.

The prominent Victoria detached building has approximately 3,295 sq ft of trading space arranged over ground and first floors as well as good external trading areas. The building also benefits from a basement and additional accommodation on the second floor.

Paul Tallentyre, Executive Director of Pubs & Bars at Davis Coffer Lyons said: “The Lock Tavern is an iconic pub in a highly desirable location and is currently undergoing further redevelopment. Rose Pubs Company is continuing to look for additional freehold pubs in London and plans to use proceeds of this sale to concentrate on developing their core business and invest in distressed assets.”
