Leisure property specialists Davis Coffer Lyons has completed the acquisition of freehold of the William The IV Public House in Leyton, East London on behalf of Rose Pubs for £2.9m

The attractive corner pub has a ground floor trading area of approximately 2,500 sq ft with a rear garden and former micro-brewery out building.  It also has seven en-suite bedrooms and a two-bedroom manager’s flat on the upper three floors.  The pub also benefits from a 2am licence on Friday and Saturday.

Paul Tallentyre, Executive Director, Davis Coffer Lyons, said, “The William The Fourth is substantial pub in a developing area of London making it an excellent investment.”

James Stewart BDM for Rose Pubs said, “We are delighted with the acquisition and will look to carry out a refit, rejuvenating the ground floor trading area as well as the seven bedrooms, which will create modern space that will appeal to people living nearby as well as visitors to the area.
“We are keen to build on this acquisition and are looking for more freehold pubs in the area.”
