October 2, 2017

A substantial freehold public house in Parsons Green, Fulham has been acquired by City Pub Company. Leisure property specialists Davis Coffer Lyons sold the property, which is located on the New Kings Road, for the private vendor for £7.75 million.

The 8,750 sq ft property is arranged over ground floor, basement and first floor trading areas, with a beer garden to the rear and external seating at the front. As well as a demise on the second floor, it has two 3-bedroom flats on the third floor. The property was acquired from the Fulham Royal British Legion Club.

Paul Tallentyre, Executive Director, Davis Coffer Lyons, said: “This is highly sought after, Grade II listed property which dates from the early 1800’s. Located in affluent Parsons Green, a densely populated area and close to the underground station, the characterful bar in ivy-clad building has a strong local reputation for summer barbecues and a hearty menu. There is plenty of opportunity to develop trade and I’m sure that City Pub Co, as one of the market’s most reputable pub businesses known for running some of the best pubs in southern England, will make a tremendous success of their latest acquisition.”

Clive Watson, Chairman, City Pub Co said: “This is an amazing pub an area of London that is well known to us. We have expertise in developing pubs to make them the heart of the community serving a wide range of popular beers and spirits and a no-nonsense menu giving our customers a great experience. The Aragon house will be an excellent addition to our existing high quality portfolio.”
