October 10, 2011

CG Restaurants has acquired a second site for Dirty Martini bars at the former Chopper Lump run by Davy’s at St James’s in Mayfair. Davis Coffer Lyons handled the lease assignment for the 2,700 sq ft premises located at 10 Hanover Square.

Hugh Fowler, Managing Director, CG Restaurants, said, “Dirty Martini’s sophisticated night cocktail bar for the post-work, pre-club crowd has proven so successful at our existing premises at Covent Garden Piazza that we felt it was time to accelerate our expansion. The concept is focussed on key areas that have a vibrant work force and are close to some of London’s best nightlife. The London bar market is currently very much affiliated with luxurious surroundings inspired by New York.”

CG Restaurants also operates five UK sites for its exotic pizza concept, Fire and Stone, as well as Tuttons Brasserie serving modern European cuisine in Covent Garden.
