DCL Appointed to St James’s by The Crown Estate

June 30, 2011

Davis Coffer Lyons has been appointed by The Crown Estate to enhance the dining offer across its St James’s portfolio, which makes up around half the buildings in the area.

The Crown Estate has recently launch a ten year £500 million investment and regeneration programme to refine and enhance the historic destination.

This first phase is its flagship St James’s Gateway redevelopment scheme currently on-site, and also includes a major £14 million public realm scheme being delivered with partners Transport for London and Westminster City Council, that will dramatically transform Piccadilly Circus and the surrounding area.

Alice Keown, who is leading the brief along with DCL’s Josh Leon, said, “The new plans for St James’s will give us the opportunity to dramatically enhance the area’s position as a as a successful and distinct sector of the West End, as well as a stand-alone dining destination by introducing new and exciting high quality occupiers.”

DCL has already begun the search for a new restaurant operator at Trafalgar House, off Pall Mall.
