Fine Burger Company Sells Islington Unit

March 1, 2012

Leisure property agents Davis Coffer Lyons has advised The Fine Food Company on the disposal of its Fine Burger Company site at 330 Upper Street, Islington.

The site will be re-opened as an independent French restaurant operated by Valery Taillandier.

The Fine Burger Company has disposed of the site to focus on its portfolio of mobile units which are appearing across the UK’s event scene throughout the summer of 2012, including the RHS Flower Shows at Hampton Court and Tatton Park, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the British Open, Lords, and the London’s Olympic Games, as well as festivals such as V, Bestival, Reading, Latitude and Isle of Wight.

Robert Tame, Managing Director, the Fine Food Company, said, “The Fine Burger Co is committed to pursuing the lucrative opportunities presented by our growing mobile and event catering division, as well as our Quality, Quick Service outlets at St Pancras International Station and Excel Exhibition Centre. The company is re-trenching from the less dynamic high street environment although we will be retaining our flagship 120-cover restaurant at London’s O2 Centre, in Finchley Rd, North West London.”
