First Permanent Site for Pilau

On behalf of landlord Shaftesbury, leading leisure property advisers Davis Coffer Lyons and joint agents Orme Retail have completed a deal for the first permanent restaurant site for Pilau at 34 Goodge Street, Fitzrovia.

The Indian street wrap concept led by George Pitkeathley and Ollie Norman, has previously operated pop­ups in Old Street, Leicester Square and Shoreditch. It has taken a five year lease for the 548 sq ft A1 unit

Pilau will sit alongside a number of independent and established fashion retailers and restaurants such as Gaucho Grill, ROKA, Ted’s Grooming Room, Black Sheep, Konditor & Cook, Roots Juicery, Salt Yard, Wahaca, Beyond Bread, Dickie Fitz, Percy & Founders and soon to be Monica Galetti’s new restaurant Mere.
