Kingly Court Continues To Build Its Envious Food Offer

November 16, 2014

Kingly Court, Carnaby’s unique al-fresco dining destination, is now home to two more emerging concepts, Oka and Crumbs & Doilies, after Davis Coffer Lyons – the leisure specialist – secured the lettings on behalf of Shaftesbury PLC.

Oka is located on the first floor of Kingly Court and is the brand’s second site, following the success of their restaurant in Primrose Hill. Serving traditional Asian food with a modern twist, the intimate restaurant’s small season menu will centre around sushi as well as a selection of dishes from its Robata Grill. Guests can also enjoy a standalone bar serving a range of Asian drinks including Supporo beer, Dewasakura ‘Oka’ Sake and Japanese ‘Yamazaki’ whiskey as well as a selection of cocktails.

Crumbs & Doilies has been created by baker Cupcake Jemma (Wilson) who has 200k subscribers on the Jamie Oliver Food Tube Network. The shop sells, as her nickname suggests, a wide range of cupcakes and cakes and a bakery on the upper floor for special bakes. This is Crumbs & Doilies’ first permanent site – having emerged from the Capital’s vibrant street markets – and also serves a selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolates and soft drinks to accompany the sweet treats.

Emma Flather a Chartered Surveyor at Davis Coffer Lyons said: “Kingly Court has been transformed over the last year and is attracting significant attention. Bringing operators of the quality of Crumbs & Doilies and Oka to the area only serves to cement its reputation as the most exciting new food and drink destination in the West End.”
