Livelyhood Signs 6th Site

Livelyhood Venues has secured its sixth pub, a private free-of-tie lease at the former Billabong Bar in Wimbledon, SW19. Davis Coffer Lyons acted on behalf of the landlord, the Jay Family.

Livelyhood, led by Sarah Wall, will re-open the premises as the Old Frizzle in June.

Sarah Wall told the M&C Report: “This will be the fifth site of the planned 15 venues. We are hoping to open a further four sites in the next 12 months.”

Livelyhood operates seven venues and concepts, including the Clapham North, the Frog (acquired through DCL), and the Royal Oak in Clapham, plus the Normanby in Putney and the Regent in Balham, It operates two restaurants: Lily’s and Four o Nine, both in Clapham which are seperate businesses above two of their existing pub units.

Parent company Livelyhood Limited also operates a gourmet potato concept called Spud, with one site in Covent Garden, also secured through Davis Coffer Lyons’ Development Leasing team.
