December 7, 2015

The Coffer Group, the leisure property industry’s fully-integrated agency and corporate advisory business, has appointed three new joiners across its leisure agency and leisure M&A businesses.

Davis Coffer Lyons (DCL), has appointed Keith Goodwin to its Pubs and Bars team. Keith joins from Christie and Co, and brings with him many years’ experience in the sale of licensed premises. Keith will handle sales and acquisitions of both freehold and leasehold pubs and bars in the south east, acting for individual and multiple operators as well as many of the major pub companies and brewers.

To its Agency team, DCL has appointed Thomas Cormie, who joins the firm from Everard Cole, where he was a consultant within its commercial property team for two years. Thomas’s role at DCL will be A3 restaurant property disposals and acquisitions.

The Coffer Group’s leisure investment arm, Coffer Corporate Leisure, has appointed Claire Fisher as an Analyst, to support the team providing analysis on investment and corporate transactions within the leisure and hospitality sectors, following Jack Silvani’s promotion to Associate Director. Prior to joining Coffer Corporate Leisure, Claire had a similar analytical role for a national retailer. She is a recent graduate from Cardiff University where she obtained a first class degree in Business Economics with French having spent one year studying at ESSEC Business School in Paris.

The news follows three additional appointments to the Group in as many months: the Pubs and Bars team’s appointment of Connie Start as Associate Director from Colliers International’s Licensed and Leisure division. Also, to the London Estates and Development Leasing team, Charlotte Christiansen as an Associate Director, from Gatwick Airport’s Catering Services division, and Camilla Topham as a Director who joins from Shelley Sandzer.

David Coffer, Chairman of the Coffer Group, said, “The new appointments support our clients’ faith in our business, by expanding with first class, widely experienced professionals in order to continue to exceed their expectations. As consumers continue their increasingly insatiable appetite for eating and drinking out, operators are ramping up some ambitious expansion plans, and landlords are constantly looking for a point of difference to drive customers to schemes. We are also witnessing the highest ever volumes of investment in commercial leisure property. We continue to be uniquely positioned to deliver on every one of these objectives.”

The Coffer Group’s specialist teams, cover agency, corporate advisory, disposals, acquisitions, pubs, valuations, landlord and tenant, hotels and investments.
