New to Market: The Victoria Inn, Northampton

April 27, 2016

On behalf of Vale Brewery, the Pubs and Bars team at specialist leisure property advisers Davis Coffer Lyons has been instructed to sell the Victoria Inn in Northampton.

The freehold property, which is three storeys and close to Northampton Town Centre, has three-bedroom owner’s accommodation and a decked rear courtyard.

Keith Goodwin, Associate Director, Davis Coffer Lyons, said, “The Victoria is a characterful building with a well presented ground floor trading area comprising of an open plan public bar providing seating for approximately 50 covers. It currently trades as traditional community pub with a lively atmosphere and hosts quiz nights as well as weekly music evenings. The pub currently operates entirely on wet sales which potentially offers scope to increase the trade by upgrading the first floor catering kitchen to serve food. Trade is primarily drawn from the immediate and surrounding areas.”

DCL is also marketing the Victoria’s sister pub, The General Eliot, recently voted one of Britain’s best pubs by the Daily Telegraph. The picturesque Oxford pub is being marketed at £550,000 freehold.
