Sally White Food Lover secures Regent Street site

Kennington-based café and food shop Sally White Food Lover is to open its second outlet, having signed to take a 330 sq ft unit at 39 Margaret Street, just off Regent Street. Davis Coffer Lyons acted on behalf of The Crown Estate on the letting.
The new venue will offer a take-out only version of its popular lunchtime menu including filled toasted brioches, free range egg tortilla, free range pork sausage rolls, salads, wholemeal sourdough sandwiches as well as a range of handmade cakes and brownies all baked fresh daily. There will also be a selection of coffees and teas.
Sally White Food Lover was founded by Sally White and Mark Ryan in 2013. Prior to that Sally owned the successful cafe and contract catering business at the Design Museum on London’s South Bank for ten years. As well as serving museum visitors, she also provided corporate catering for many large companies including the FT, Puma, big law firms and designers.
The Crown Estate holds almost the entire freehold to Regent Street, a global destination boasting one of the finest collections of international brands in the world, including Apple, Burberry and J.Crew, as well as pedestrianized dining quarters at Heddon Street and Swallow Street and offices for major companies such as Telefonica Digital, Ares Asset Management and Tudor Capital. Since 2002 The Crown Estate has been implementing a £1 billion Regent Street investment programme, guided by the values of quality, heritage, style and success to ensure the future viability and prosperity of the street and its buildings.
North of Oxford Circus, The Crown Estate is delivering a distinct strategy for its holdings which focuses on upgrading the retail and leisure offer to meet the needs of the surrounding residential community, as well as shoppers and the increasing numbers of office workers based in the area.
