April 10, 2014

Italian caffè bar and deli, La Bottega is to open the first of its re-defined concept on Monmouth Street in Seven Dials after Davis Coffer Lyons – the leisure specialists – secured the letting on behalf of Shaftesbury PLC. The new 800 sq ft café – the first launched by the company’s new management team – will open in May (2014).

La Bottega, established in 2005 in Chelsea, brings authentic and high quality Italian groceries, food and coffee to London. The brand currently has six sites across London, including St James’s, Belgravia and South Kensington. The new cafe builds on the strength of the existing brand to offer even better quality produce and service.

Piergiorgio Lo Greco, CEO of La Bottega, said: “Seven Dials combines the village appeal that is central to our origins and values with the cosmopolitan vibrancy that comes from such an unique mix of international brands. It is the perfect location in which to launch La Bottega’s exciting new course, and we are delighted to be joining such great company.”

Charles Owen, Seven Dials Portfolio Manager at Shaftesbury, added: “La Bottega is a great new addition to Seven Dials’ already strong mix of international cafés, bars and restaurants and will compliment the unique retail offer throughout Seven Dials. We work continuously to introduce new offers, and La Bottega is a perfect complement to recent openings.”
