Foxlow in Stoke Newington Changes Hands

Leisure property advisers Davis Coffer Lyons has assigned the leasehold interest of Foxlow on Stoke Newington Church Street in North London, part of the neighbourhood-style restaurant format from eponymous high-end steak chain Hawksmoor. The leasehold interest of restaurant, which closed in 2016 was assigned at a passing rent was £55,000 per annum for the remainder of the 15 year lease. A premium was paid for the property.

It will now trade as The Last Crumb, a friendly, neighbourhood cafe serving an all day brunch menu with
a focus on seasonality and quality with an in-house bakery and a function area. The basement will also incorporate a shared workspace hub for entrepreneurs, freelancers, start-ups, small businesses and large enterprises within the community to use.

The 2,884 sq ft restaurant can accommodate approximately 100 covers, arranged over ground floor and basement as well as substantial outside seating. Its location on Church Street is close to the junction of Stoke Newington High Street and there are established retail and leisure pitches in the vicinity made up of independent and national operators including Franco Manca, Nandos, The Good Egg, KFC, and Whole Foods.

Foxlow continues to trade at Chiswick, Balham, Clerkenwell and the recently opened Soho.
