City Of London Corporation Appoints DCL To Secure New Operators for North West London Park Cafes

Davis Coffer Lyons is proud to have been appointed by the City of London Corporation to secure hospitality operators for five café / restaurant opportunities in the parks and open spaces it manages in North West London. This includes three units on Hampstead Heath (Golders Hill Park, Parliament Hill, and Parliament Hill Lido), and those at Highgate Wood, and Queen’s Park.
The units, which are available on new leases, all benefit from substantial outside seating areas. They are expected to attract interest from a range of operators; interested parties can submit proposals for single or multiple units. In reviewing proposals, consideration will be given to a number of factors, including café / catering concept, menu and food offer, management structure/practices and experience, environmental management, and community and social value, as well as the strength of the business plan and the financial offer.
The City Corporation manages over 11,000 acres of green space across London and the southeast. Most of these sites are run as charitable trusts and include Sites of Special Scientific Interest, Special Areas of Conservation, and National Nature Reserves.
