MasterChef The Professionals Winner to Debut in Wimbledon Village

Alex Webb, winner of MasterChef: The Professionals in 2020, will soon launch his debut restaurant in Wimbledon Village, at 75-77 Ridgway.
Orion is a French-inspired, British seafood-led restaurant. Dishes will be shaped by the seasons and Alex’s ties to local producers, using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. The name – referencing the Orion constellation – is a tribute to the chef’s late father and two grandfathers, whose influence inspired his passion for food.
Webb gained experience at restaurants including Hélène Darroze at The Connaught, Roux at Parliament Square and Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, before going on to win his Masterchef title at just 25. A long-term restaurant residency at the Intercontinental London Park Lane followed, as well as various pop-ups and private dining events.
Davis Coffer Lyons acted on behalf of the landlord to let the 2,300 sq ft premises, formerly home to The Light House restaurant.
