Since joining Davis Coffer Lyons in February 2004 to assist Tracey Mills in driving the growth of the Leasing division, Kate has established herself as one of the industry’s best-informed development advisors.
Providing consultancy and agency advice on some of the UK’s most exciting mixed-use, retail, leisure and lifestyle schemes and central London estates, Kate’s expertise includes development of tenant mix strategies to create bespoke F&B offerings, tailored to each project. She has worked on West End dining destinations which have been transformed by careful curation of tenant mix and the introduction of vibrant new operators, including Carnaby and Covent Garden.
Kate has dealt with F&B leasing for Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City since 2006, prior to the launch of both centres, including leasing of areas that have provided key points of difference; such as upscale “food court” The Balcony– ground-breaking on its 2008 launch and reinvented in 2019, Stratford’s specialist food retailing environment, The Great Eastern Market, and the 70,000 sq ft extension to Westfield London, including the letting of Ichiba, Europe’s largest Japanese food hall.
Kate’s experience spans regeneration and repositioning projects, listed buildings and heritage locations, as well as retail environments, having advised John Lewis and Fenwick.
Her love affair with restaurants stems from an early career in hospitality, which was followed by a stint in property PR. She is PA and referee to two children.
