Pip has over 35 years’ experience in commercial property and has specialised in the Licensed & Leisure Premises sector for c.30 years.

As a Senior Director within DCL’s Lease Advisory team, Pip deals with rent reviews, lease renewals, re-gears and other Landlord & Tenant-related issues on a variety of restaurants, wine bars/café bars, pubs, clubs, high street food & beverage units and other licensed/leisure assets.

Her experience within central London is extensive and wide-ranging, acting for landlords and tenants across the spectrum.  She is recognised for her extensive involvement in Soho, Marylebone, Mayfair, Fitzrovia, Noho, the City, Borough / South Bank, Knightsbridge, Fulham and Chelsea.

She also provides advice to landlords and tenants throughout Greater London and the South East in respect of high street/town centre bars and restaurants.

Pip is actively involved in negotiating Tied and Free of Tie rent reviews on traditional public houses throughout London and the South East on behalf of both landlords and tenants.  Acting within the 2016 Pubs Code etc Regulations, she also advises and represents tied pub tenants when negotiating MRO (Market Rent Option) leases.

An experienced Expert Witness, Pip regularly deals with Arbitrations, Independent Expert referrals and Court proceedings.  She liaises closely with the Pub, Agency and London Estate Leasing teams and with Coffer Corporate, providing detailed advice to landlords and investors on rents and lease terms.

Outside of the office, Pip still seems to be chief cook, cleaner, taxi, social secretary and bank to her 3 grown up children, carer to several dogs, cats and tortoises, Chair of Women & Girls Rugby, Coach to the U14 & U16 Girls and Manager & Player in the Senior Women’s Team at Dorking RFC and First Aider/Mental Health First Aider to all.  In the limited time left over, she enjoys a pint of Guinness, a good book, long walks and a bit of gardening.
