May 11, 2021
All day restaurant and bar operator, Bubba Café, is to launch its first site at 57-58 Upper Street in Islington.
Leisure property specialists, Davis Coffer Lyons, agreed a new lease on behalf of the private Landlord. The property occupies 4,822 sq ft internally, plus a roof terrace of approximately 750 sq ft and is situated on the prime section of Upper Street, opposite Islington Green.
Bubba Café will operate an all day and night restaurant and bar across the ground floor and first floor roof terrace. There will be a focus on healthy bowl foods, salads and wraps, with an expansive wine, beer and cocktail menu.
Louie Gazdar, Davis Coffer Lyons said “this deal reflects the robust nature of affluent London neighbourhoods that have flourished throughout the pandemic, with operators keen to open neighbourhood sites to capitalise on the growing number of people working from home and drinking, dining and socialising in their local areas”.
Davis Coffer Lyons advised the Landlord. Saul Fierstone of Lewis Craig advised the tenant, Bubba Café.
