DCL delivers first English site for Scottish pancake house Stack & Still on behalf of Leicester Square landlord
November 3, 2022

Acting on behalf of the landlord, specialist leisure property advisor Davis Coffer Lyons has let the former MOD Pizza site on Irving Street, Leicester Square, to Scottish pancake house Stack & Still for its first English site, as part of ambitious expansion plans.
A December opening is planned for the 5,000 sq ft site, which will accommodate 225 covers over its three floors and external terrace. Stack & Still – which launched in Glasgow in 2018 and quickly expanded to 6 sites in Scotland – plans to double in size in the next two years, with four or five openings in the pipeline for 2023, including a greater presence in London. Its family-friendly menu offers a possible 10 million pancake combinations as well as its signature stacks.
Emily Hirsch, DCL Associate Director, said “This flagship letting – which completed within 12 weeks of the first viewing – underlines the enduring importance of the West End for new brands entering the London market.”
Owner Paul Reynolds told Propel Info: “It’s long been my ambition to expand Stack & Still beyond Scotland, and the move into probably the most famous leisure destination in the UK is testament to the strength of the brand. Opening our flagship pancake house in such a location will allow us to expand beyond our traditionally busy breakfast time by serving dishes throughout the day to families and international tourists.”
