Incipio Group launches first City site – The Libertine – at The Royal Exchange

Hospitality operator Incipio Group has made its first foray into the City of London, with the launch of The Libertine at the iconic Royal Exchange.
DCL acted on behalf of Oxford Properties to let 7,000 sq ft of historic vaults, which Incipio Group has transformed to accommodate a large destination bar, lively drinking and dining spaces, a restaurant, and two private dining rooms including a whiskey vault. The food menu offers “wholesome, seasonal fare using the best quality produce” from lunch ‘til late, including seafood and a selection of dry-aged steaks.
Incipio Group – which is also behind Pergola and The Prince – specialises in creating dynamic food and drink venues that take people ‘somewhere else’. This is a significant opening and represents another vote of confidence in the recovery of the financial district, where we are seeing a number of exciting new openings from both established and emerging operators.
The retail element of The Royal Exchange was acquired by Ardent UK in October.
