On the Market: The Former Packington Arms in Islington

October 19, 2020

On behalf of the landlord, Priestley Group, Davis Coffer Lyons’ Pubs team is marketing the former Packington Arms pub on Packington Street in Islington, North London.

The 2,710 sq ft Free of Tie ground floor and basement lock-up is available in a shell condition on a new 20-year lease. It has been closed as a hospitality venue since 2014 having traded as a variety of incarnations previously including most recently, Zenith Bar. There are private residencies on the upper floors.

Connie Start, Associate Director, Davis Coffer Lyons, said “We are primarily marketing the property as a hospitality business in a hope to restore it to its former glory, but we are sympathetically considering offers for all uses.

“Our main priority is for the property – located in such a vibrant and strong community – to be occupied after many years of lying empty. The local area is a very popular as both a residential and commercial location, close to Angel tube station and many other amenities, so it would suit a variety of uses, subject to planning permission.”
