Raft of new openings revealed at Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City

July 21, 2021

The team behind the Hawks Nest in Shepherds Bush have launched new concept The Phoenix at Westfield London, serving up a mixture of street food favourites with Mexican-inspired cocktails and live music and events on the site of the former Jamie’s Italian, which features a large English-garden-themed terrace.

It is the first in a number of exciting F&B openings this summer; Filipino ice cream concept Mamason’s Dirty Ice Cream will open in central events space The Atrium, Indian street food concept Bindas Eatery – created by the winner of Westfield’s food entrepreneur competition in 2018 – will launch on Westfield Square, and fledgling brand Mrs Chew’s Chinese Kitchen will open their second site in the Balcony.

Meanwhile at Westfield Stratford City, Turkish grill and bar Lokma is fitting out to open a 6,000 sq ft restaurant on The Street, soon to be joined by another exciting neighbour.  Thunderbird Fried Chicken will launch in the World Food Court close to Honi Poke, which opened earlier this year, and the fast food court will shortly welcome the first UK restaurant for North Fish.

The incoming concepts all add new dimensions to each centre’s continually evolving eating and drinking offer, with more exciting additions in the pipeline.
