New Neighborhood Restaurant, Bar & Bakery Café Linea to Launch in Chelsea’s Duke of York Square
February 13, 2025

Café Linea, a new neighbourhood restaurant, bar and bakery concept from husband-and-wife duo Greg and Felicity Godik will launch this summer next to Chelsea’s Saatchi Gallery, in the grade-II listed 19th century arcade overlooking Duke of York Square.
Inspired by the cafés and bistros set in historic arcades across Europe, Cafe Linea will serve produce-led, modern classics and elevated comfort food. In addition to à la carte dining, guests will enjoy freshly baked morning pastries to accompany artisan coffee, inventive bar snacks alongside evening drinks, and an exciting range of miniature cakes and patisserie, all produced by the onsite bakery and pastry kitchen.
With interiors designed by Dion & Arles, the space will blend historic features, including vaulted ceilings and arched alcoves, with a modern, yet warm and timeless aesthetic. During the day, natural light will flood through arched windows, while in the evening, the space will transform into a romantic, candle-lit spot for aperitifs or leisurely dinners.
Chef Partner Carolina Ferpozzi, originally from Argentina, brings her experience from working alongside respected South American chefs Fernando Trocca and Narda Lepes, to create menus that reflect seasonality and a fresh take on classic dishes. Joining the team is General Manager and Partner Steven Mason, previously of Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons and the three Michelin-starred Odette in Singapore.
Duke of York Square offers an unrivalled range of international fashion, food, beauty and culture – with the iconic Saatchi Gallery at its heart. Originally built as a school for military orphans in 1801, it was acquired by Cadogan in 1998 and redeveloped into an award winning shopping and dining destination, fusing classic architecture with contemporary design.
DCL acted on behalf of landlord Cadogan.
