The Carpenters Arms, Hayes, sold to Friends Tavern

September 9, 2019

Friends Tavern Ltd has today confirmed it has completed the Freehold acquisition of the Carpenters Arms pub in Uxbridge, Middlesex for £1.8million.

The site was purchased as a potential development opportunity from a major brewer with vacant possession, and comprises 1,871 sq m over two storeys with a late license. A large car park and manager’s flat are also included. The site is located close to Uxbridge Town Centre and just three miles from Heathrow Airport.

Paul Tallentyre, Executive Director, Davis Coffer Lyons, said, “The sale for this property entered a contract race due to the desirability of the property and my client exchanged in 24 hours – The pub market remains robust with demand for prime freehold assets continuing to significantly out-strip supply and having clients that can move quickly and are cash funded really helps in these situations.”
