Byron Replaces Miso at Hoxton Square

June 29, 2011

Byron Gondola Holdings’ hamburger restaurant offering has taken another new restaurant in Shoreditch at Hoxton Square through property adviser Davis Coffer Lyons.

Byron has taken a 6,000 sq ft unit on a new 25 year lease, at a passing rent of £120,000 per annum exclusive and in addition a significant premium was paid . The property comprises ground floor and basement unit at 45-47 Hoxton Square, formerly occupied by the Miso noodle concept. This will be the 16th site for the chain of up-market burger restaurants, which opened its 15th site in Putney this month.

In 2010, DCL was instructed to dispose of a further three Miso sites as part of a strategy to consolidate its portfolio and expand into other regions.

Jonathon Moradoff, Davis Coffer Lyons who advised Miso said: “Hoxton Square remains one of London’s most fashionable destinations for restaurant and bar operators, as well as consumers and tourists. Hoxton is awash with the most fashionable independent operators and chains and Byron will only compliment these extremely popular offerings.”
