Comptoir Libanais touches down at Gatwick Airport

August 28, 2013

Comptoir Libanais is the latest exciting restaurant to join the line up at Gatwick’s North Terminal after the London-based Lebanese fast-casual concept agreed to take a 1,800sq ft restaurant at the airport, which will be run by TRG Concessions.

The chain currently operates four other sites in South Kensington, Wigmore Street, Westfield London and Westfield Stratford as well as a semi-permanent site in Broadwick Street, which opened last year.

DCL is retained by Gatwick Airport to develop the catering offer in its two terminals.

Charlotte Christiansen, business development manager for catering at London Gatwick, said: “Gatwick’s food and beverage strategy has focused on delivering even greater choice for passengers as part of the wider £1bn transformation of the airport, which has seen the redevelopment of both of our departure lounges and a vast array of new shops and restaurants open.

“Comptoir Libanais will offer an exciting new dining experience thanks to its unique ambiance and exceptional menu which caters for a wide variety of tastes. It also fits perfectly into the needs of the modern air passenger – serving up healthy, flavoursome food in a timeframe to suit each individual’s needs.”
