DCL Victorious in Highgate

December 10, 2013

Picturesque public house, The Victoria in Highgate – which boasts an original Victorian facade dating back to 1837 – has been sold by DCL on behalf of Enterprise Inns to the Beechwood Group.

The two storey detached property has trading area, customer WCs and trade kitchen on the ground floor. There is accommodation on the first floor comprising two double bedrooms, one with en-suite, one single bedroom, a shared bathroom as well as an open plan living space with roof terrace. The property benefits from a beer garden at the front and an external licenced space to the rear.

Charlotte Wild of Davis Coffer Lyons said: “This is a stunning pub in a fantastic location with an extremely affluent catchment. We were originally appointed to sell the lease on the pub. However, when we were marketing it we receive so much interest from parties looking to buy the freehold that Enterprise decided to sell it instead. Given this demand it was, therefore, little surprise that we had competitive bidding and secured a price well in excess of asking.”
