Dirty Blonde in Brighton to Become New Experiential Dining Venue

October 2, 2019

Leisure property advisers Davis Coffer Lyons (DCL) has completed the letting of the former Dirty Blonde on East Street in Brighton to a new market entrant – a high end Japanese restaurant.

They will be collaborating with different lifestyle brands and interior/furniture designers to create a unique experiential dining location with a cuisine focused on high quality Japanese fayre.

The premises are 5,693 sq ft arranged over ground to second floor with substantial frontage onto East Street and an outside area above. A new 15-year lease was granted by the landlord and the premises also benefit from a late licence.

Louie Gazdar, Davis Coffer Lyons, said, “We’re still witnessing high demand for property in the food and beverage sector in strong leisure locations like Brighton. Robust rents are still being set despite the notable headwinds the industry is facing and we have completed on over a dozen deals in the last few weeks alone.”

East Street is one of Brighton’s most popular and thriving retail and leisure streets, close to the seafront, the south Lanes and Brighton Dome. There are a plethora of national, international and independent operators along East Street and the surrounding area.
