Levi Roots, creator of Reggae Reggae sauce made famous by BBC’s Dragon’s Den, and Eren Ali, co-founder of Las Iguanas, are to open Levi Roots’ Caribbean Smokehouse at Westfield Stratford City in November. Davis Coffer Lyons – the leisure specialists – secured the letting on behalf of the landlord.

The concept will offer genuine Caribbean cooking and will have a strong focus on incorporating the very latest technological advances in order to create an added point of difference.

Kate Taylor, Director at Davis Coffer Lyons said: “Levi Roots captured the public’s imagination when he appeared on Dragon’s Den 8 years ago with his now famous Reggae Reggae sauce and has since published a number of cookery books. His character, coupled with Eren’s knowledge and understanding of operating restaurants, will make a great partnership and we have no doubt that this will be an extremely popular addition to The Street.”
