Vinoteca Signs Third Site in Soho

January 30, 2012

Vinoteca, the burgeoning wine bar and restaurant chain, has secured its third London site – at 53-55 Beak Street in Soho – advised by Davis Coffer Lyons’ Agency team.

The company, which was launched in September 2005 by Charlie Young and Brett Woonton, has taken an assignment of a 15-year lease that expires in 2022. The property has 800 sq ft of space on each of the basement, ground and first floors. The former tenant was Gallery Rendezvous run by Joseph Yau.

Vinoteca also has premises on St John’s Street, Farringdon, and in Seymour Place, Marylebone.

Paul Campbell, formerly chief executive of the Clapham House Group, has recently taken a significant minority stake in Vinoteca through his investment vehicle Hill Capital Partners.
